Founded by Jon Rose in 2009 as a way for surfers and travelers to do what they love and help along the way, Waves For Water is an organization that works on the front lines to provide clean water to communities in need around the world through the distribution of portable water filters, the renovation of wells and the construction of rainwater harvesting and storing systems. Waves For Water is focused on effecting a global change by taking a no-nonsense approach to humanitarianism and encouraging people to look at aid-work as a lifestyle, rather than a component of doing good and giving back.
