Kristian von Rickenbach, a 5’11” side sleeper who shares a bed with a 6 lb Havanese named Chewie, is the cofounder of Helix Sleep, a personalized mattress company. His passion for sleep began when he fell asleep playing hide & go seek and his parents, about to call 911, discovered him inside the washing machine. After a nightmare mattress-buying experience while in grad school, he and two friends developed Helix--an innovative solution to a very broken industry.
