Matineh Eybpoosh is a serial entrepreneur in the battery energy sector, with a track record of developing and commercializing software solutions for electricity markets. Her work focuses on the application of artificial intelligence to grid-scale batteries, wholesale power markets, and electrification. She is the Co-Founder and CEO of Powerline, a company building an intelligence layer to support the development and operation of large-scale battery portfolios. Prior to Powerline, she co-founded Watt-Learn, a software company focused on optimizing standalone grid-scale batteries, which was later acquired by a renewable energy developer. Following the acquisition, she played a key role in scaling the technology and supporting the commissioning of one of the first utility-scale battery projects in Texas. Earlier in her career, Matineh served as Director of Data Science at kWantera, where she developed AI-driven forecasting solutions for power markets across North America. She holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where her research focused on applying artificial intelligence to the diagnosis and optimization of energy systems.
