Michaela Zee
Observer writer Michaela Zee is a New York-based journalist covering film, television, fashion and culture. She previously served as an associate web editor at Variety, where she handled breaking news, wrote feature stories and covered events ranging from red carpet premieres to the Harvey Weinstein trial. Zee has won a National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Award and received two nominations for SoCal Journalism Awards. Her work has also appeared in V Magazine, VMAN, IGN and L’Officiel USA.
