Phil Friedman is founder and CEO of Computer Generated Solutions, Inc. (CGS), a global leader in IT solutions and services. He founded CGS in 1984 and built it into a diversified technology enterprise delivering award-winning software, consulting, systems integration, training, and support to clients in more than 48 countries. Mr. Friedman has received numerous honors throughout his career, including the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award and the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, and his contributions to the U.S. economy and society have twice been recognized by the United States Congress. He was also appointed to represent the State of New York on the Presidential Business Commission and to serve as an Honorary Chairman of the National Business Advisory Council.
