Rebecca Fine

Art Market & Finance Expert

Rebecca Fine is the CEO of global art lender, Athena Art Finance and Managing Director of Art Investments at Yieldstreet, a private market alternative investments platform. Prior to founding Athena in 2015, Rebecca was a law partner at a boutique art law firm, focusing on the art-specific risks associated with lending against art as an asset. There, she litigated disputes involving title, authenticity, attribution and restitution claims. After graduating from Columbia College and Columbia Law School, Rebecca was a commercial, cross-border litigator at the law firms of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Wilmer Hale. In 2019, Yieldstreet acquired Athena Art Finance and launched the first of seven Art Debt Offerings, consisting of diversified pools of art-backed loans, underwritten and managed by Athena (which has made more than $625 million in art loans). Through investments starting at $10,000, Yieldstreet investors have access to art debt offerings that have historically netted more than 10% interest annually.
