Founded in 1988, AFA (Artists for Artists) began when a group of artists in Scranton, inspired by a local studio on Lackawanna Avenue, sought to build a stronger creative network in Northeast Pennsylvania. Recognizing the need for greater connection among regional artists, they each invited five others to an initial meeting, laying the foundation for a thriving artistic community.Read more about Galleries.
