Antonio Romero’s Paintings Are Reflections of the Shadows of Power
The Salvadoran painter's work can be found in the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, MOLAA, the Colección Mario Cader-Frech and the Poma Family Collection. His latest exhibition, “MIRROR” at New York's Kates-Ferri Projects, draws on Central America's political history, using shadowy figures, palm-lined landscapes and a pervasive color to trace how power operates across borders.
