Hank Willis Thomas
Hank Willis Thomas, born in Plainfield, New Jersey in 1976, is a contemporary American artist known for his conceptual and provocative works that explore themes of identity, race and consumer culture. He studied at New York University and earned his MFA from the California College of the Arts. Thomas's work spans photography, sculpture and public art, often incorporating appropriated imagery and text.
