Al Sharpton
Al Sharpton is an American civil rights activist, Baptist minister, television/radio talk show host, and politician. Born on October 3, 1954, he is the founder of the National Action Network (NAN), an organization dedicated to advancing the rights and interests of African Americans. Sharpton has been a prominent figure in advocating for social justice, addressing issues such as police brutality, racial inequality, and economic disparities. He is also known for his appearances on MSNBC and for his presidential run in the 2004 Democratic primary.
