Arianna Huffington
Arianna Huffington, born in 1950, is a Greek-American author, syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She is the co-founder of The Huffington Post, a popular news and blog site, which launched in 2005 and was later acquired by AOL in 2011 for $315 million. Under her leadership, the site grew into one of the most widely-read, linked-to, and frequently-cited media brands on the internet. In 2016, she stepped down as editor-in-chief to launch Thrive Global, a start-up company focused on health and wellness. Her net worth was estimated at $100 million in 2024.
