Courtney Love
Courtney Love, born in 1964, is an American singer, songwriter, actress and visual artist. Love gained prominence as the lead vocalist of the alternative rock band Hole, which she formed in 1989. The band's albums, particularly "Live Through This" (1994) and "Celebrity Skin" (1998), received critical acclaim and commercial success. Love's tumultuous marriage to Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and her outspoken and controversial persona have kept her in the public eye. Despite personal struggles, Love has been noted for her contributions to the punk and grunge scenes and her role in films such as "The People vs. Larry Flynt" (1996), earning her a Golden Globe nomination.
