Eric Schneiderman

Eric Schneiderman is an American attorney and politician who served as the Attorney General of New York from 2011 to 2018. Born on December 31, 1954, he is a member of the Democratic Party. Schneiderman previously served as a member of the New York State Senate from 1999 to 2010. He resigned as Attorney General in May 2018 following allegations of physical abuse by multiple women. During his tenure, Schneiderman was known for his work on consumer protection, environmental issues, and challenging the policies of the Trump administration.
