Fortunato Depero
Fortunato Depero (1892–1960) was an Italian futurist painter, writer, sculptor, and graphic designer. A significant figure within the Futurism movement, Depero's work embraced a broad spectrum of the arts, ranging from painting and sculpture to theater and advertising design. In 1927, he co-authored the Futurist manifesto "Bolted Book," which extolled the virtues of modernity and the machine age. With a strong belief in the fusion of art and daily life, Depero's innovative ideas and designs left an indelible mark on 20th-century Italian art and design.
