John Kerry
John Kerry is an American politician and diplomat who currently serves as the United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, a role he has held since January 2021. Born on December 11, 1943, he is a member of the Democratic Party. Kerry was the U.S. Secretary of State from 2013 to 2017 under President Barack Obama. Prior to that, he served as a U.S. Senator from Massachusetts from 1985 to 2013. Kerry was also the Democratic nominee for President in the 2004 election but lost to incumbent President George W. Bush.
