Lee Krasner
Lee Krasner (1908-1984) was a prominent American abstract expressionist painter. Although often overshadowed by her marriage to Jackson Pollock, Krasner's contributions to the movement were substantial. Her body of work, notable for its vigorous brushwork and bold colors, evolved through several distinct phases. Krasner's pieces are displayed in institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.
