Lin-Manuel Miranda
Lin-Manuel Miranda, born in 1980 in New York City, is an American composer, lyricist, actor, singer, rapper, producer and playwright. He created and starred in two critically acclaimed musicals, "In the Heights" and "Hamilton." Miranda's "Hamilton" won 11 Tony Awards in 2016, including two personally for Miranda for Book and Original Score. He has also received a Pulitzer Prize, three Grammy Awards, an Emmy Award, a MacArthur Fellowship and a Kennedy Center Honor. Miranda has contributed to the music for films, including "Moana" (2016), and has acted in movies and television shows.
