Lucien Smith
Lucien Smith, born in Los Angeles, California in 1989, is an American contemporary artist known for his abstract paintings and innovative use of materials. He studied at Cooper Union in New York City, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Smith gained early recognition for his "Rain Paintings" series, which he created by spraying paint through a fire extinguisher to mimic the patterns of falling rain. His work often explores themes of nature, memory and the passage of time. Notable exhibitions include "Tigris" at Salon 94 in New York and "Nature is My Church" at the Leila Heller Gallery in Dubai.
