Marina Harss
Marina Harss is a New York-based dance critic, translator, and freelance writer. She is a regular contributor to The New Yorker, where she writes about dance and other topics. Harss has also written for DanceTabs, Playbill, The Nation, and other publications. She has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Mellon Foundation. In addition to her work as a critic and writer, Harss has translated several books from Italian and French into English. Her translation work includes novels by Italian authors such as Nicola Lagioia and Elena Ferrante.
