Paul Ryan
Paul Ryan is an American politician who served as the 54th Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives from 2015 to 2019. Born on January 29, 1970, in Janesville, Wisconsin, Ryan was a member of the Republican Party and represented Wisconsin's 1st congressional district from 1999 to 2019. Known for his work on budget and tax reform, Ryan played a key role in the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. He was also the Republican nominee for Vice President in the 2012 election, running alongside Mitt Romney. Ryan retired from Congress in 2019 and has since been involved in various business and philanthropic endeavors.
