Scott Stringer
Scott Stringer is an American politician who served as the New York City Comptroller from 2014 to 2021. Born on April 29, 1960, he is a member of the Democratic Party. Prior to his tenure as Comptroller, Stringer served as the Manhattan Borough President from 2006 to 2013 and as a member of the New York State Assembly from 1992 to 2005. He is known for his work on fiscal oversight, affordable housing, and education reform. In 2021, he ran for mayor of New York City but did not win the primary.
