Tara Walters

Tara Walters, born in 1990 in Washington, D.C., is a contemporary American artist known for her evocative and mystical paintings that often draw from her personal visions and experiences. Walters received her BFA in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2016 and her MFA from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California in 2020. Walters' process frequently involves the use of unconventional materials, such as seawater, which she began incorporating into her work following an epiphany during her graduate studies.
