Thomas Corneille
Thomas Corneille (1625–1709), the younger brother of the famous French dramatist Pierre Corneille, was a playwright and linguist in his own right. Although often overshadowed by his brother, Thomas made significant contributions to the French theater, particularly during the 17th century. He wrote several successful plays and was also known for his work on the first French dictionary, "Le Dictionnaire des Arts et des Sciences."
