Michael Kempner has long made his influence felt in politics as well as PR, and 2020 was no exception. When CNBC reported recently on the Biden/Harris ticket’s biggest fundraisers, Kempner was front and center; he also took a personal role in leading clients like the Democratic super PAC American Bridge and advocacy group Voto Latino, which ended up registering more than 600,000 Latinx voters. In the meantime, Kempner and crew bootstrapped big-time around COVID-19, ramping up crisis management and launching services like Social CEO, which crafts social personas for individual executives. Kempner has also made MWW a force for substantial, effective diversity and inclusion, with pro bono initiatives aimed at supporting Black-owned businesses through COVID-19 and the new “Z Suite” diversity insights initiative with American University.
