Associate Vice President of Beauty at SHADOW
After an internship at Chanel, Danielle Marmel launched her career at SHADOW. In eight years, she’s helped build a burgeoning beauty division under the wing of partner Liza Suloti. Marmel first dipped a (pedicured) toe into the category with clients like Rachel Zoe’s DreamDry, Caption Nails, and the now $1 billion-valued IT Cosmetics; since then, she’s taken a leadership role on big-time clients like Moroccan Oil, e.l.f. Cosmetics, La Mer, and ColourPop Cosmetics. Today, as an associate vice president, she manages 10 direct reports. Over the summer, according to SHADOW co-founder Brad Zeifman, Marmel “secured over 44 brand features, 22 of which were dedicated brand features, over the course of 25 days this summer, racking up over 800 million media impressions and an Allure Best of Beauty award” for haircare brand BREAD.
