This Is The Easiest Way To Win An Oscar

It seems that the easiest new way to win an Oscar is to take the "meta" route. Easy in the sense that in the yearly feeding frenzy for awards, there appears to be one surefire way to grab the attention of the all important Academy voters. The former “easy” way used to be what I referred to as the “180°," in which a charismatic actress might transform into a homely heroin, or a beefy action hero might cut his weight to concerning proportions. Now, it appears the solution is to play to the one key facet binding together all of the esteemed voters responsible for handing out the awards, and that is their collection love of film.
