Brooklyn Rep Accuses Trump’s DHS Head of ‘Trying to Pull a Fast One’ on Haitian Refugees
"I think that Secretary Kelly is really obfuscating his authority. There is no doubt that under current law, the secretary of Homeland Security is endowed with the authority to provided Temporary Protected Status for individuals who are either in imminent danger from natural disasters or who are seeking refuge. So for him to put it back on the congress passing legislation well I think clearly he is trying to pull a fast one."
