Le Fooding the Hungry
This weekend Le Grand Fooding threw their yearly “food party” at Rockaway Beach. Running from 12-4pm on Friday July 11th until Sunday the 13th, they roped in local food joints and star chefs alike to feed their patrons a delicious three-course meal. From chilled lemon shio dashi from Ivan Ramen to cornmeal crostini sopes care of Rockaway Taco, the spread was not what one might call typical beach fare. In honor of the event’s sponsor, San Pellegrino, the chefs involved put an Italian spin on their usual dishes. There were even San Pellegrino-infused mocktails to sip in the sun, highlighting the two newly released flavors: Clementina (clementine) and Melograno E Arancia (pomegranate and orange).
