Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art

The Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art, located in New York City, is the only dedicated LGBTQ+ art museum in the world. Founded in 1987 by Charles Leslie and Fritz Lohman, the museum’s mission is to exhibit and preserve LGBTQ+ art and foster a deeper understanding of the community’s cultural contributions. The museum’s collection includes over 30,000 objects, featuring works by artists such as David Hockney, Andy Warhol and Keith Haring.
