Lucas Museum of Narrative Art

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, founded by George Lucas and Mellody Hobson, is set to open in 2025 in Los Angeles’s Exposition Park. Designed by architect Ma Yansong of MAD Architects, the museum will feature 300,000 square feet of gallery space, theaters, and educational facilities. It will house over 100,000 pieces, including original Star Wars memorabilia and works by Norman Rockwell, N.C. Wyeth and Robert Crumb. Exhibitions will explore storytelling across cultures and time periods. The museum aims to inspire creativity and critical thinking through various programs and workshops.
