$51.4 Million Is Being Awarded to New York City Cultural Institutions
Cultural Development Fund grants totaling $51.4 million are being allocated to arts nonprofit organizations all over the city.
Museum of Food and Drink
The Museum of Food and Drink (MOFAD) is located at 55 Water Street, 2nd floor, Brooklyn, NY. The museum was founded in 2013 and is dedicated to exploring the history, culture and science of food and drink. The museum features interactive exhibits and sensory experiences that engage visitors in the culinary arts. Notable exhibitions include “Chow: Making the Chinese American Restaurant” and “Feast for the Eyes” which examines the relationship between food and photography. MOFAD also hosts a variety of educational programs, cooking demonstrations and tasting events fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of food and its impact on our lives.
