Museum of Modern Art
The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is located at 11 West 53 Street, New York, New York. The institution was founded in 1929. It is one of the most influential modern art museums in the world. MoMA’s collection includes over 200,000 works of modern and contemporary art featuring pieces by artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Picasso and Andy Warhol. Notable works include Van Gogh’s “The Starry Night,” Picasso’s “Les Demoiselles d’Avignon” and Warhol’s “Campbell’s Soup Cans.” The museum is housed in a building designed by architect Yoshio Taniguchi with subsequent expansions.
