New Orleans Museum of Art

The New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA), established in 1910, is the oldest fine arts museum in New Orleans. Located in City Park, NOMA’s extensive collection includes over 40,000 objects spanning 5,000 years of art history. The museum features works from European and American paintings, African and Japanese art, photography, glass, and decorative arts. NOMA is also home to the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden, which showcases more than 90 sculptures set within a picturesque landscape. In addition to its permanent collection, NOMA offers rotating exhibitions, educational programs, and public events, making it a central hub for art and culture in the region.
