Noguchi Museum

The Noguchi Museum is located at 9-01 33rd Rd, Queens, NY 11106 and was founded in 1985 by the artist Isamu Noguchi. It is dedicated to preserving and displaying Noguchi’s sculptures, furniture designs and drawings. The museum is housed in a converted industrial building and includes a serene outdoor sculpture garden. The collection features notable works such as “Red Cube” and “Water Stone.” The museum hosts temporary exhibitions that explore Noguchi’s work and influence such as “Noguchi: Body-Space Devices” and “In Praise of Caves: Organic Architecture Projects.” The Noguchi Museum also offers educational programs, workshops and public events fostering an appreciation for Noguchi’s artistic legacy and contributions to modern art and design.
