Sean Kelly Gallery was founded by Sean Kelly in 1991 in New York City. The gallery focuses on contemporary art and has been instrumental in the careers of artists like Marina Abramović, Antony Gormley, and Kehinde Wiley. In 2012, the gallery moved to a larger space in Hudson Yards, reflecting its growth and influence. Sean Kelly Gallery’s commitment to ambitious and thought-provoking exhibitions has significantly impacted the New York art scene, inspiring other galleries to elevate their curatorial standards and embrace challenging works. The space is softly lit, and the left side of the frame is filled with a vibrant wall of flowers in shades of purple, pink, red and white.
