NEW BRUNSWICK -- Over the shouts of protesters who gathered here today to explicitly condemn him for it, Gov. Chris Christie today defended his decision to send a team of state troopers to the riot-torn city of Baltimore, suggesting it's the same support other state's showed New Jersey in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
NEW BRUNSWICK -- With Gov. Chris Christie set to appear at a treatment center here for a bill signing of opiate abuse prevention legislation, a small group of protesters gathered outside to condemn the governor's movements on a different issue: namely, his decision to send some 150 state troopers to Baltimore to help quell the rioting there.
