Tate Modern

The Tate Modern, founded in 2000, is located in London, England, and is housed in the former Bankside Power Station, redesigned by architects Herzog & de Meuron. The museum was established as part of the broader Tate network of galleries, initially founded by Sir Henry Tate in 1897. Tate Modern is renowned for its extensive collection of international modern and contemporary art, featuring works by artists such as Picasso, Andy Warholand Mark Rothko.
