Installation at Paris Internationale Milano 2026

Paris Internationale Expands to Milan, Testing New Ground

Paris Internationale’s first edition in Milan drew a mix of curiosity and confidence, with early sales and strong participation suggesting opportunity, even as galleries weighed what a second fair might mean for Milan’s evolving ecosystem.

A bright, contemporary gallery space with large windows overlooking a cityscape, featuring an installation by Swivel at Independent 2025. Sculptural works resembling oversized plastic grocery bags filled with produce, chips, and receipts are suspended on the wall and placed on the floor. Wall-mounted vertical arrangements of snack bags are secured with bold-colored straps. The installation humorously critiques consumer culture and everyday consumption through hyperreal, soft-sculpture renditions of common grocery items. The space is minimal, allowing the playful and detailed works to stand out.
